Reference these when creating any asset, email, or document for Blacc Current.
Climate Crisis
Used for: every major headline, the nav logo, stat numbers, hero display text, section titles. Always all caps. Always tight letter spacing. Never used for body copy or small text.
Biro Script Plus
Used for: accent words within headlines, the animated cycling word in the hero, section label scripts, pullquotes, footer personality text. Never used for long paragraphs. Used sparingly — one or two words at a time for maximum impact.
Impact
Used for: subheadings, supporting bold text, card titles, section intros. Title case or sentence case. Never all caps when paired with Climate Crisis — it will compete.
Outfit
Used for: all body copy, descriptions, form labels, navigation links, button text, captions, and any text under 16px. Clean, modern, geometric — premium but approachable. Always clean, never styled with effects.
Colour Pairing Rules
Plum background with Cream text is the primary combination. Wine and Deep are always used as gradients together — never flat. Lavender is the accent — used for interactive states, highlights, and small details. Mist is for secondary text and soft moments. Never use Lavender as a background for large areas.
A MARK, not punctuation.
The studio is Blacc Current in running text. The lavender & only appears inside the wordmark lockup, at size, at scale.
Minimum lockup size: 48px
Three marks, three jobs.
Wordmark (the voice)
Brand-owned surfaces ≥48px
Ring icon (the face)
App icon, favicon, digital surfaces too small for wordmark. Never on paper.
Monogram 'bc.' (the signature)
Proposals, invoices, contracts, watermarks, packaging stamps. Never a profile icon.
Decision tree:
Is it digital and space very limited? → Ring
Is it a document, package, or paper? → Monogram
Is space available and brand-owned? → Wordmark
